Media Centre Lume of the University of Art and Design Helsinki was established in the year 2000. Lume gathers under the same roof students and researchers of film and television, production design, and new media.
Studio complex, research institute, theatre, conference centre, film school facility, gallery, banquet hall, new media centre… catalyst, coordinator, connector. Lume has many tasks and users. The focus of the centre is clear, however: at the heart the activities there are always the needs of the content.
