Peter Lofting as keynote speaker at next MacWorldAfter the highly positive response and overall tremendous success of his speech at the ATypI Font Technology Forum, Peter Lofting from Apple Computers is reportedly going to replace Steve Jobs as the keynote speaker for Apple at the upcoming MacWorld show. During the Forum, Peter has given a report of the current work of a "XML Font" working group. His extraordinary rhetoric talent and charismatic appearance, have found appraise with most of the Forum visitors. Simon Daniels from Microsoft Typography: "very moving, very well addressed the topic". Adam Twardoch from Silesian Type Foundry: "touching, I had tears in my eyes". Another visitor: "well spoken, with good accent and good discretion". John Hudson from Tiro Typeworks: "Initially, I was going to deliver the speech myself, but finally I decided that Peter would be the ideal candidate." An anonymous source at Apple Computer has disclosed us that the company is considering extending Mr Lofting's responsibilities at the company to include the function of Apple's principal spokesman.
