Otmar Hoefer
Otmar Hoefer is a trained hot metal typesetter born on Offenbach am Main.I got my engineering degree at the FH Druck (University of Applied Sciences for Print) in Stuttgart and I am working for Linotype since 1978 first at D. Stempel AG type foundry, in Frankfurt, and now Linotype GmbH.
I have undergone all technology changes and can understand the transition of the type design into the new era. Type is an essential part of my life.
