David Lemon
In college David Lemon fell in love with type design. He worked for magazines &
newspapers, mastered their computer systems, and kept working on his own designs. When Adobe launched David showed Sumner Stone his type work and Sumner hired him to help turn typefaces into fonts. David became expert in Type 1 font development, then multiple master fonts, and helped direct the development of OpenType. As manager for Adobe’s type team, David works for the synthesis of art & technology.
