Tablets have very different inherent qualities from paper and print. On the touch-screen the established conventions from print typography makes little or no sense. Referring to print often confuse more than it aids. Instead, new forms of navigation must be build that are both logical and intuitively understandable for the reader. This necessarily reflects changes upon all aspects of publishing – from writing to the design of typefaces for use on these devices.
