Web fonts for non-Latin scripts

Only in recent years have we started to enjoy the webfont technology which allows us to choose virtually any font we like on websites. Yet it is gaining popularity mostly in Latin alphabet communities, and the domain of non-Latin webfonts remains relatively unexplored, but forthcoming. Upon implementation of non-Latin webfonts it is crucial to address the specific problems with specific browsers and scripts.
In this talk the current situation of non-Latin typography on the web, especially web fonts, will be explored. For example, the possible topics include browser compatibility of each script, multi-scriptural setting, font sub-setting for CJK, writing direction regarding Arabic, Japanese and Mongolian, unknown script support.
