ATypI Warsaw Sold Out—Tuesday Workshop Info for Registered Attendees
Yes, it's true, our 60th annual conference is sold out! Check out the info below for what to do if you're attending a workshop!
The ATypI 2016 Warsaw conference has been sold out for quite some time. We are sorry to disappoint anyone, but demand for our programming was higher than we even expected. Warsaw is a fantastic venue for ATypI, and we have a stellar group of speakers and workshop leaders, along with exhibitions and special events designed to please type makers, type users, and everyone in between.
Headed to a workshop tomorrow? We've got some essential info for you!
Workshop information for attendees
Workshops | Tuesday, September 13: All workshops, with the except of the letterpress session, will be held at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technologies, ul. Koszykowa 86, 02-008 Warsaw. If you registered and paid for a workshop, your name will be on the list at check-in. Visit the check-in desk between 8:30 and 9:30 pm to be directed to your workshop. Classes will begin promptly at 9:30 am. Lunch for these workshops has been graciously provided by one of our presenting partners, PJAIT. Workshop materials support was provided by Linotype.
The Greetings from Warsaw (letterpress) full-day session will be held at the Letterpress Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (ASP) | Krakowskie Przedmieście str 5 (please ask for ZECERNIA at the Painting Department). Plan to arrive between 9:00 and 9:15 am to ensure you're not late to class. ASP is another one of our presenting partners—our general session will be held in the school's new building later in the week.
Please note: if you do not already possess a valid workshop registration issued in your name, you will not be admitted to class. Workshop registrations may not be purchased onsite. There are no exceptions! For Verena Gerlach's Show Me Your Type workshop, only those who were pre-approved by the instructor will be admitted.
