The experience of the reconstruction one of the most beautiful Soviet era typeface Ladoga, and its development into a multilingual family (it won two competitions!). Research and solving the problem of coexistence of the typeface within different writing systems in one family, using universal capabilities of broad pen. Extended Latin and Cyrillic, including Caucasian and Paleo-Asian sets and historical Cyrillic of different eras. Historical background of the Greek Renaissance old style. Hebrew in multilingual set: cases and italics. Armenian. The system of Georgian writings and design possibilities. Font support for Assyrian: Nestorian and Estrangelo. Correlations of traditional Arabic writing and European styles. Possibilities of further developments: Ethiopian, Devanagari, Kanji, Katakana, Hangul.
