Type designers have a love-hate relationship with the Bézier curves. The Béziers are a great way to represent glyph outlines, but are they really the best tool to design? We love Bézier curves, and we think we can make them better. We’ve listened to type designers and watched them work. We experimented. In 2011, we decided to build a new tool for digital type design from scratch. It has familiar colleagues at its heart: Unicode, OpenType, Fontographer, FontLab Studio and the good-old Béziers. But it’s young, brisk and very smart. It can even perform some magic. Come and see!
