Paresh Choudhury

Paresh Choudhury Designation: Visual Designer, Design Educator and Typographer.

Educations:

Master in Applied Art from M.S. University of Baroda (1993), Advanced Studies in Curating and Spatial Graphic Design from Chelsea College of Art and Design, London (2011).

Paresh Choudhury is currently teaching Graphic Design as Professor in MIT Institute of Design since 2008, focusing in areas like Visual Language, Environment Graphic Design, Way finding Design and Typography Application.

Earlier, Paresh has worked in New Delhi based advertising industry for almost fourteen years before transforming himself into design education. In 2006, Paresh was invited to the Norwich School of Art & Design, UK for a short stint. He remembers this period very fondly as when he felt truly liberated as a creative professional. His interest in academics and the teaching of Design & Communications took him touring to the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at University of East Anglia, various places in London like Royal College of Art (RCA). He has undertaken some research based project on Environmental Typography and their relevance to culture.
