The process by which we design type has not changed significantly since Fontographer has been introduced into the market. There are many experiments trying to breathe new life into the type design and skeleton based type design is one of them.

We have developed new tool inspired by the Stroke theory by Gerrit Noordzij. The tool translates a stroke and width and rotation of a nib into a shape.

At ATyPI we let people try our software and conduct discussion about what might designing with skeleton based approach brings to the industry.
