Adobe and Google joined forces to release the world's first open source Pan-CJK fonts in July of this year. The project took just under 4 years to complete from initial discussions until the release of the fonts, which are available in seven weights each of which includes 65,535 glyphs. Join Stuart Gill of Google and Caleb Belohlavek of Adobe as they discuss what it took to bring together five world-class companies in what was truly a mind-boggling multi-national and multilingual design and production effort. Caleb and Stuart will provide an overview of the tools and methodologies that were used, as well as some of the pitfalls that were encountered along the way.
