How to get to the city
By plane, car or train… even by boat! You can get to Barcelona by any means of transportation. Here are some available options to help you decide which type of transportation suits you best.
By plane
Barcelona – El Prat airport is located only 16 kilometres from the city. Barcelona – El Prat is the second largest airport in Spain and the main hub for Vueling. It is also a focus city for EasyJet and low-cost RyanAir. All major airlines operate regularly, providing destinations to Spain, Europe, North Africa, Southeast Asia, Latin America and North America. From the Airport to the city
Taxi
Taxis are available from Terminals 1 and 2. Follow the signals in the main exit hall. It takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the city center. Price: 30-40 €
Train
Trains connect Barcelona Airport with the city every 30 minutes. It takes 20 minutes to get to Sants Central Station. Trains depart from Terminal 2. There is a bus shuttle that connects both Terminals. Ticket price: 3,80 €. More info: renfe.es
Shuttle-bus ‘Aerobús’
There is a daily service between Plaça de Catalunya and Barcelona Airport every 20-30 minutes and it takes about 35 minutes to get to the city center. Ticket price: 5.90 €. More info: aerobusbcn.com
