Arriving by air

Getting to Hong Kong and into the city is straightforward.

Airport information

Hong Kong International Airport (airport code HKG) is located less than five flying hours from half of the world’s population. It is one of the world’s 10 busiest passenger airports. The airport is connected to around 160 destinations, including 40 on the Chinese mainland, through over 900 daily flights served by more than 100 airlines.

ATypI has secured an agreement with Delta/KLM/AF to offer a discount on airfares for people coming from Canada and/or the USA for ATypI 2012.

From the airport to the city

Hong Kong International Airport offers a variety of convenient and inexpensive transportation services to and from Hong Kong and Kowloon.

Airport Express trains

The convenient and comfortable Airport Express service runs every 10 minutes and takes you directly to Central Hong Kong in 24 minutes. There are stops at Tsing Yi, Kowloon and Hong Kong. A single ticket to Hong Kong station costs HK$100. Free shuttle bus services are available to major hotels from Kowloon and Hong Kong stations.

Other modes of transportation

Coach service is available to most major hotels, as well as train, taxi and Airbus services.
