Typographyday 2013
‘Typography Day’ is an International conference on Typography held every year in India during the month of March. The conference is devoted to addressing issues faced by type designers, type users and type educators. The event is spread across three days; first day for workshop followed by two days of conference that includes presentations of invited keynote speakers, eminent academicians, blind juried papers, industries, research scholars and students. The program will also host an exhibition of selected posters and typographic works of students and faculty members from Design Institutes in India.

Typography Day will be organized for the sixth time during March 07-09, 2013 at Department of Design (DoD), Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) in collaboration with Industrial Design Centre (IDC), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) with support from India Design Association (InDeAs) and Aksharaya.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘Display Typography’. The programme includes the following

b. Two Days International conference (blind juried)
c. Meet on Research in Typography (for Research Scholars)
d. International Poster competition (blind juried)
e. Exhibition of works from Design Schools
