ATypI poster presentations of research in typeface design and typography

Following on from the successful research forums at the conferences in Brighton and St Petersburg, ATypI's Education committee is offering researchers on typeface design and typography the opportunity once again to present their projects in an informal setting.

Regardless the phase of the work (just started, halfway through, or recently concluded), ATypI will provide a seminar space set up for short presentations to small groups; and wall space for the researchers to hang their posters outlining their work, for the entire duration of the Reykjavik conference.

Participants are expected to bring a printed A2 or A1 poster explaining the subject, objectives and methodology of the research project (and the results, if the study has reached that stage). Each researcher will have 10 minutes at their disposal to present the research project, followed by some time for discussion. Research poster proposals can be submitted until Sunday 4 September 2011.
