Wednesday information for attendees

ATypI Forum Day | Wednesday, September 14: The technology, business, and education forums will be held at the home of one of our amazing presenting partners, the National Audiovisual Institute (NInA), located at Wałbrzyska 3/5 in Warsaw.

NInA Track 1 showcases technology, and runs all day in the Promised Land theatre. NInA Track 2 is located in MiniMax, and with education presented in the morning, with the business sessions beginning after lunch.

If you registered and paid for Forum Day single tickets, or for the full conference (Days 2–5), visit the check-in desk at NInA between 8:30 and 9:30 am and show your photo ID to receive your badge. Those without valid registrations will not be admitted into the facility.

Morning sessions will begin promptly at 9:30 am, with the afternoon sessions beginning at 2:00 pm. The forums will end at 5:40 pm sharp, when everyone must leave the building. This is very important, as NInA is hosting another stellar event after ours, and we must help make sure there is no delay.

A catered breakfast will be served in the NInA cafe during registration, so grab a bite and a coffee or tea if you’re in need of sustenance. Catered coffee breaks and lunch are also provided for registered attendees. Pre-selected meals and refreshments are courtesy of ATypI. Should you choose to order off the menu, that expense is on you.

Please note: The ATypI Opening Reception and Keynote on Wednesday evening, and the General Session, which runs Thursday–Sunday, take place in the new building of the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) another one of our supportive presenting partners. ASP's new building is located at Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 37/39 in Warsaw, by a beautiful park bordering the glorious Vistula River.

IMPORTANT POLICY NOTES: We cannot stress enough how critical it is that you wear your badge at all times. The conference is completely sold out, and only registered and badged attendees will be admitted to the conference spaces. There are no exceptions. While many of us know each other, our dedicated, hard-working volunteers are meeting most of you for the first time. Please do not put them in an uncomfortable position. Wear your badge and everything will go smoothly.

Other reminders, and we hope these go without saying:
Look after your belongings and the property of our hosts, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, and your fellow attendees. While many of us are good friends and colleagues, sometimes unwelcome incidents occur such as theft or vandalism. We do not wish to see anyone suffer a loss, so please take good care.

Verbal harassment or physical abuse will not be tolerated at any ATypI event. Any attendee who is abusive in any way to another attendee, volunteer, staff member, organizer, or vendor will have their credentials revoked and will be immediately escorted from the premises.

Transferring and sharing of badges is not permitted. Should it be discovered that an attendee is engaging in either of these practices, their delegate credentials will be revoked immediately and they will be invoiced for the cost of another admission.

Thank you for your attention to these policies as you enjoy your time at ATypI in Warsaw. Personal responsibility, health, and safety are paramount at large events, and we appreciate your understanding about our policies.
